Fourmarks

Wednesday 15 October, 2008

Today we went on a walk in the steps of Jane Austin. It was quite an adventure. Well at first all was going well then my knee started hurting. So we had to take a shortcut along the road but before that we stopped at the plucking pheasant bar and had what I thought was the best sandwich I had ever had in my life. So along the road we went until there was no footpath. So we snuck into a farmers field and walked there. The farmer saw us and came racing towards us in his tractor. We ran then came to a gate were we walked in a ditch of poison ivy for about 10 minutes. So we just had to walk on the road until a car came then we stood on the side. Then we saw a sign that said footpath and we walked along it until we got home. After that we saw Jane Austen’s house and mum bought me a quill and some ink. Home at last and we went straight to sleep.

Dad's Life

Sounds like you guys are having some fun. I worked like a dog in the sun all week long and hardly made any money at all. I also had the worst sandwich of my life last week. I was a P&J but I left it in the hot car too long so that the bread was soaked thru with jam juice and was so hot that the peanut butter was melted, but I ate it anyways cause I was hungry it was such a mess I had to have a dog come over and lick my hands clean before I could pick up my work tools. I'm also sunburnt. Have fun.

Love Dad
